What You'll Do

The EMEA & APAC Tour Manager – Pros is responsible for executing Wilson’s Global Racquet Sports Strategy across professional tours in the EMEA and APAC regions. This role ensures Wilson is the most trusted technical partner for professional athletes by managing their journey from junior levels to global elite status. The Tour Manager will build and oversee a top-performing athlete roster, manage day-to-day Tour operations, and collaborate cross-functionally to activate, optimize, and capitalize on athlete partnerships through brand-driven events and initiatives.

 

Primary goals

  • Manage the strongest and most efficient athlete roster in EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Lead all aspects of athlete operations on Tour, ensuring long-term development from junior to top-20 global players, where then, they will transition to the Tour Director.
  • Maximize athlete partnerships by driving cross-functional activation, optimizing market impact, and capitalizing on every opportunity for brand growth.

 

EMEA & APAC Tour management & development

  • Lead international contract negotiations for new athlete signings and renewals.
  • Manage the transition of junior athletes (under international contracts) to the professional tour for approximately 150 athletes collaborating closely with the EMEA & APAC Tour Manager – Juniors to ensure a smooth, structured, and strategic transition for athletes moving from junior to professional contracts.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and maintain strong relationships with athletes representatives on Tour in EMEA & APAC.
  • Partner with the Global Tour Director to identify and elevate top regional athletes into global ambassador roles once they reach top 20 in the rankings.
  • Drive the Tour Transition Project by coordinating with local, regional, and global teams to ensure seamless transitions between national and international athlete management.
  • Strengthening relationships with Tour Academies and Coaches to solidify Wilson’s leadership on Tour.
  • Work with Tour Specialist to enhance the athlete experience at tournaments, Tour Suites, and events.
  • Travel to professional tennis events. 

 

Budget & financial oversight

  • Build and present annual Tour budgets for EMEA & APAC, including junior athletes under internal contracts.
  • Manage endorsement and equipment budgets across all relevant athletes.
  • Automate budget and forecast processes for better accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee financial operations including payments, intercompany transactions, and accruals.

 

Tennis 360 strategy execution

  • Support the Tour Director in executing the Wilson 360 strategy to enhance brand presence on Tour.
  • Assist in scouting, signing, and managing full-scope “head-to-hand-to-toe” athlete partnerships with both current and emerging talent capable of driving international brand impact.
  • Contribute with Tour Director to developing a short-, mid-, and long-term athlete pipeline aligned with the brand’s growth strategy from the Juniors up to the world best players.

 

 Strategic alignment & Tour marketing activation

  • Collaborate with Wilson global teams to ensure strategic alignment across departments and markets.
  • Support regional marketing and sales teams in leveraging athlete partnerships for campaigns, activations, and consumer engagement.
  • Partner with Product teams to ensure Tour feedback and athlete needs are reflected in product development and positioning, reinforcing Wilson as the top performance brand for the next generation of racquet sports athletes.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in tennis, either competitively or through coaching qualifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in sports business, management, or marketing within racquet sports or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sports marketing, business, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; Spanish or French is a plus.
  • SAP knowledge beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; proven experience in helping and supporting people.
  • Problem-solver with the ability to work independently and find solutions.
  • Skilled in cross-functional coordination; team-oriented and goal-driven.
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 75 days/year).
