What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Market Manager Tennis 360 for the North of Europe,  field based in London.    The job holder is the wholesale sales leader for  UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.  Key responsibilities include achievement of the annual sales and margin objectives for the territory, managing and coaching the Wilson Tennis 360 sales team and executing key strategies to drive the success of the brand in the market.  The role reports to the Regional Sales Director, EMEA.          

 

You will be able to

  • Drive sales and margin development in the market whilst building market share
  • Execute the brand GTM strategy, building local acceleration opportunities across racketsports (tennis, padel, pickleball) and soft goods (sportswear and footwear).
  • Manage and support a sales team of Territory Managers with global strategy and go to market execution
  • Coach, mentor and train the Territory Managers, track and support their progress to exceed P&L targets
  • Drive strategic partnerships, provide input into commercial strategies
  • Analyze and report on key business information, trade and market related matters
  • Plan and implement “EOL” and closing out strategies to manage inventory levels
  • Be an active member of the Tennis 360 European management team

What We're Looking For

To be a successful Market Manager, you must:

  • Have passion and enthusiasm for all racketsports and be an active member of the rackets community in your area
  • Strong people management skills, managing an international sales team for >3 years
  • Have strong negotiation, relationship building and networking skills
  • Consumer centric, strong business acumen, entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
  • Analytical skills, able to manage budgets, coordination & planning skills, well organized and able to implement and execute multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent English, speaking and writing and a Nordic language an advantage)
  • Digital savvy with excellent understanding of social media landscape
  • Ideally racketsports and soft goods selling experience
  • Strong Microsoft and systems capability
  • Driving license
